This plantation is situated on Mayan land in the north of Guatemala, along the Rio Dulce, or “sweet river”. The planters in this region prefer diversified farming, where crops of fine cocoa live alongside precious timber, rice, rubber and more. The beans themselves produce fruity, floral fragrances, with flavours of orange, banana, walnut and hazelnut.
